Daily Check List

These days there are so much cleaning that has to been done. We have put together our recommended daily check list.

1. Make sure your antivirus software is up to date! If you are using AVG click here to see how to configure and do a manual update if necessary.

2. After surfing the internet, daily, run Adaware SE Personal Edition.  Click here to see how to configure and run Adaware.

Other important Updates!
Windows Updates are also very important. These do not have to be run on a daily basis but if you should see the windows update icon appear in your taskbar near the clock in the lower right corner, you should click it so that it can install the downloaded updates. Do not put it off til another time.  Just save your work and do it right then. These updates often are patches that will help prevent you from being infected with some new virus that attacks Microsoft Windows.  If you would like to manually check for updates you can go here...
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/   This will take you to the Microsoft windows upadate page.  Follow the directions on the screen to scan for updates. ONLY install Critical Updates and Service Pack! We do not recommend installing any of the other updates. If you want more detailed instructions on how to do manual updates click here to go to our help page on Manual Windows Updates.
