If you are running Ad-Aware SE Plus edition and you have tried to change your home page to something different and it will not keep the changes, then here is a tutorial on how to do that.

1. Double click on the Ad-Watch Icon in your system tray on the far right in the area with the clock.

2. Then click on the round button next to Automatic so that there is an X in it and it turns red.  This turns Automatic OFF.

3. Now you will receive a Warning!  That there has been an attempt to alter a protected object.  Just click on Accept.

4. Now you are probably wondering if you should go back and turn Automatic back on. If you leave it off then it will just warn you so that you can decide if you want to accept those changes.
