Remove AVG message in Email

This will tell you how to remove the .txt attachment in every email that states that AVG has scanned your email and it is clean.

1. “Double” click on the AVG icon in the lower right corner.

2. Click once on Email scanner, then click on the Properties button.

3. Click on Configure.

4. Now, remove the check mark in the box that says, “Certify Mail”. (see image below).  You can uncheck the one that I have put optional on.  This one puts a message in emails that you send to other people saying that the message is clean.

5. Click Ok once you have made your changes.  Then click Ok once more.  This puts you back to the control center. You can click on any of the items in the control Center (AVG Resident Sheild, Email Scanner, Interneral Virus Database, etc...) then click on Properties to see how you can customize your settings. Do not make changes to the settings unless you understand how it will affect your antivirus software.
